Bob's Boomerang Adventure

I wrote the music for Bob’s Boomerang Adventure in 2023 for a game jam. The game follows a quirky scientist who accidentally shrinks himself to the size of a bug and must journey through a lively garden to find a serum that returns him to normal size. The score is light-hearted, playful, and full of personality, featuring instruments like marimba, piano, strings, and woodwinds to reflect the charm and chaos of the tiny world Bob finds himself in.

Each track supports a different part of the adventure—from the peaceful Menu Theme, with its gentle piano ostinato and calming string textures, to the playful Overworld Theme, filled with bouncing rhythms and cheerful marimba lines. The Intro Cutscene sets the stage with a mix of dramatic and silly tones, while the Big Bad Boss theme brings a touch of danger with darker harmonies and a mysterious edge—though it still keeps things fun. The Outro Cutscene wraps everything up with a victorious, triumphant flair as Bob finally returns to normal size.

As a bonus, I included a track that didn’t make it into the game originally. It’s a high-energy boss theme blending classical and metal influences, with electric guitar, piano solos, and a full rhythm section. It was a blast to write and adds a fun extra layer to the soundtrack. Overall, this project was a joy to work on, and I hope the music brings a smile to your face—just like Bob’s journey did for me.
