As I was driving back to Canberra one day past Lake George, an idea popped into my head to write my next piece based on the appearance and disappearance of the lake due to the flat open plain it appears on after lots of rain and its unique mystery. This piece features three distinct sections which transition into each other gradually. The three sections are: 1. The stillness and empty absence of the lake that was once there but now gone, 2. The downpour of rain that slowly fills up the lake and 3. The stillness and calmness of the lake has appeared.
